Terms of Service

1. What VibeCheck does
VibeCheck provides automated, read-only “launch check” scans of public GitHub repositories and public websites you submit. Results are informational only and are not a guarantee of security, compliance, or fitness for production.
2. Authorization
By submitting a target you represent that you own it or are authorized to have it scanned. You must not use VibeCheck to scan third-party systems without permission. Live-site checks are passive (HTTP GET / read-only probes only). We do not exploit vulnerabilities, write data, fuzz, or port-scan.
3. Acceptable use
- No scanning of private/internal IPs, localhost, or non-public hosts.
- No abuse, rate-limit evasion, or automated mass scanning.
- No using findings to attack systems you do not own.
4. Free mini-scans
Free mini-scans are limited (currently 1 per email per calendar day, and IP limits). We may change limits or discontinue free scans at any time.
5. Secrets we find
Secrets in reports are masked. You are responsible for rotating any exposed credentials. Do not share report links publicly if they may contain sensitive context.
6. Paid plans (when enabled)
Paid features (full reports, subscriptions) will be billed via Stripe. Fees are generally non-refundable except for failed scans we could not complete. Subscriptions renew until canceled.
7. Disclaimer & liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SPECIFIC SCAN IN THE PRIOR 30 DAYS (OR $0 FOR FREE SCANS).
